Brooke Crest Estates is a small, gated community in Fallbrook in North County San Diego. As with most Fallbrook neighborhoods, Brooke Crest Estates is within minutes of golf courses, equestrian centers, schools, nature preserves, hiking trails, shopping and dining options.

Brooke Crest Estates is a small, gated community of one- and two-story, Mediterranean and ranch-style homes. The single-family homes here mostly have three to five bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and 2,063 to 4,000 square feet of living space. Lot sizes are about .25 acre or a bit larger. According to neighborhoods.com, the 19 homes in Brooke Crest were built between 1955 and 2000. Due to the location of the community on a gently sloping hill, most homes here have great views.

Fallbrook is also home to many community events that take place throughout the year, including the well-known Fallbrook Avocado Festival, Wine and a Bite Holiday Art Walk, Movies in the Park, Fallbrook Scarecrow Days, Holiday in the Village and Fallbrook Christmas Parade. When it comes to your everyday errands, Fallbrook has you covered. You should be able to find just about everything you need without needing to head to the city. Of course, when you do need options more often found in larger cities, both Oceanside and Temecula are within an easy drive.
In and around downtown Fallbrook, you will find grocery stores, pharmacies, salons, healthcare providers, banks, gas stations, and locally owned stores and boutiques. If you are just getting to know your way around the Fallbrook neighborhoods, look for Mercantile Shopping Center, Fallbrook Towne Centre and Colony Plaza Shopping Center, which are all off of South Mission Road. If you need to caffeinate to power through your to-do list, there is a Starbucks at the corner of South Mission Road and Ammunition Road, or you can opt for a local favorite and stop by Fallbrook Brewing Company. For something a bit more unique, check out Firehouse Que & Brew, Trupiano’s Italian Bistro, Pedro’s Tacos, Main Street Café, Dominick’s Sandwiches, Robertito’s Mexican Food, or Garden Center Café and Grill.
If you find yourself with a free afternoon or want to introduce out-of-town guests to some local offerings, head to one of the local wine tasting rooms or to Fallbrook Brewing Company’s tasting room to try local craft brews.
Brooke Crest Estates Parks and Recreation
Like most Fallbrook neighborhoods, Brooke Crest Estates makes a great home base for folks who enjoy an active lifestyle. Dinwiddie Preserve is just to the north of the community, Ingold Sports Park is to the west and Los Jilgueros Preserve is just minutes away. Golf courses and country clubs are within easy reach, boarding and training stables can be found throughout North County San Diego, and the beaches of Oceanside are only about 30 minutes away.
Hikers and mountain bikers will love living in this area and will find trails in every direction. Many of the trails closest to home are in one of the 11 preserves managed by the Fallbrook Land Conservancy, the Santa Margarita River Trail System, Palomar Mountain State Park and Cleveland National Forest.
For golfers, the nearest courses can be found at Golf Club of California, Arrowood Golf Course and Pala Mesa Resort. By driving just a bit farther, you can also try out the greens at Vista Valley Country Club, Castle Creek Country Club and Welk Resort. Some of these options also offer tennis courts, and tennis enthusiasts will definitely want to check out the Fallbrook Tennis Club on South Mission Road.
If you are looking for after-school programs for your kids, arts and crafts classes for your senior parents, fitness classes, or the chance to learn a new skill or hobby, be sure to look into the wide variety of programming offered at the Fallbrook Community Center. Aside from community classes and events, there is also a park with picnic areas, a sand volleyball court and a playground.
Other parks in Fallbrook include Don Dussault County Park, Clemmens Lane Park, Ball Park and Live Oak Park, which is also home to your nearest off-leash dog park.

Public school students living in Brooke Crest Estates are served by the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District and Fallbrook Union High School District. Brooke Crest Estates is south of Dinwiddie Preserve, west of Brook Road, immediately north of Premier Color Nursery and east of Stage Coach Lane. This Fallbrook gated community is accessed from Brook Road, and homes here are located on Brooke Crest Lane and Crest Hill Lane.
