The owners and management of Bentley’s Steak & Chop House are dedicated to providing a high quality dining and entertainment experience in a classic steak house ambience while serving you with a highly trained staff of professionals. We serve only the highest quality meats, seafood, produce, and other ingredients while making everything except our bakery products, which are delivered daily, fresh from scratch. We also feature one of North County’s most extensive wine lists that is very progressively priced. We are confident in our ability to provide this type of product and service because of our wealth of experience in the restaurant business.

The business is owned by TMP Restaurant Group, LLC and TMP stands for Tom, Mike, and Partners. Tom, is Tom Fulkerson, who has over thirty-five years of restaurant experience in operations, and real estate and development, as a corporate executive, restaurant consultant, and restaurant operator. He and his wife Diane have lived in the Encinitas and Olivenhain area for over twenty-five years and are extremely excited to have a beautiful restaurant like Bentley’s in their own community. Mike, is Mike Morehead, who also has over thirty-five years of restaurant experience in operations and marketing serving with such concepts as Hungry Hunter, Rusty Pelican, and Carlos Murphy’s restaurants.  He and his wife Gail have lived in Poway for almost thirty years.

Tom and Mike are also the principals of T & M Restaurant Group, Inc. which operates Carver’s Steaks and Chops in Rancho Bernardo where Mike and his wife, Gail, live locally in Poway. We are very hands-on owners that are likely to greet you at the front door or at your table to make sure that your entire experience is perfect. If Mike, Tom, Diane, or Gail, are not on-site we have a very capable and experienced management team to insure your experience exceeds expectations.  Our General Manager is Brian Smith and Executive Chef is Michael Patula.
