Gallery Bonuccelli, a new fine art gallery opening in Solana Beach, will transport you across the globe through photographs. Opening soon, the gallery will feature the work of Dominic AZ Bonuccelli. Rich and soulful, the images highlight our planet’s most scenic locations and the unique people that inhabit them.

Specializing in environmental portraiture, Bonuccelli has been photographing for Rick Steves’ Europe for 20 years. He has also hosted travel shows, including Lonely Planet: Roads Less Travelled for the National Geographic Adventure Channel and Subaru Eco Adventure Road Trip for the BBC.

A world-traveler could choose to open a gallery anywhere. So, Your North County asked Dominic why he chose why Solana Beach:
Fellow photographer and longtime friend Remy Haynes moved to Solana last year, I visited and fell in love with the mellow beach town vibe, spiked with the vibrancy of the Cedros Design District. That pedestrian-friendly area feels very European and alive. It seems like the perfect locale for a gallery of travel images and will complement all the furniture, flooring and design shops. I love that it’s only a few blocks from the beach, that the traffic is mellow, and that I can bust my motorcycle 30 minutes east and I’m lost in the hills. -Dominic
Gallery Bonuccelli will feature images captured from around the world. The gallery will be co-managed by Remy Haynes. Remy Haynes is a Solana Beach lifestyle photographer and apparel designer. Gallery Bonuccelli will also host a monthly art-walk open house and promote local and national artists. The gallery will have a soft opening on February 10th from 12pm-6pm. The official grand opening, on March 17th, will be all day, with live music, wine tasting, olive oil tasting and more!
