A boozy brunch in North County San Diego is the perfect option for whatever get together is coming up on your social calendar. Birthdays, romantic day dates, Mom’s only meetups without the kids, or simply an indulgent morning when you don’t need to rush off to anything and just want to hang out with your friends. Bottomless mimosas are a weekend’s best friend. Use this list as a starting guide and don’t forget to tell us about other great mimosa outposts you find during your booze-ventures.
As always, things tend to change quickly when it comes to restaurant offerings so we suggest that you call to confirm the free-flowing bubbles are still available at the time you need them. And, do make a reservation wherever possible.
Head to Crush for delicious Italian cuisine including brick-oven pizza as well as American favorites like Benedicts and burgers. We also have to give the bananas foster french toast a nod, for sure. The outdoor patio welcomes four-legged brunch goers, too. Bottomless mimosas or peach bellinis cost $15 with brunch running between 10:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Al’s Cafe in the Village
Al’s Cafe in the Village is a beloved diner located in the heart of Carlsbad Village that offers breakfast all day, every day. The omelettes are legendary and kids under the age of 10 eat free with a paying adult. Bottomless mimosas are on offer from 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily (you read that right… every day) for $12. If only a glass will do, that will only set you back $5. Just don’t forget to pick up some homemade fudge, another treat the diner is famous for.
If it’s Sunday, it’s brunch time at Brigantine locations across the county. Look for a la carte favorites such as clam chowder and their famous fish tacos in addition to morning entrees including a seafood omelette, New York steak and eggs or a smoked salmon stack platter. Order a mimosa and make it bottomless for a mere $3 extra. (A clear choice, right?) Brunch hours are from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. but if you felt like extending your stay, head to the bar area as Sunday is all-day happy hour.

The 3rd Corner
Both Saturday and Sunday brunches are on offer at The 3rd Corner, perhaps North County’s most popular spot for boozy brunch. It is a wine shop, after all. The all-inclusive and festive meal will set you back $20.95 and happens between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We know you walk in for the drinky-poos but stay for the stuffed french toast or duck machaca. If you happen to tire of bubbles, opt for one of the over 800 wines in the store. With a $5 corkage, you’ll still pay much less than if you were to enjoy the same bottle at another restaurant. Or, take the wine home with you.
Davina’s Cabo Grill and Cantina
While Davina’s Cabo Grill and Cantina serves a hearty a la carte brunch every day, they step it up a notch on Saturdays and Sundays with the option to add on bottomless mimosas, bloody Marys, bloody Marias or micheladas for $9.95. The only restrictions (other than good behavior, of course) are that you can’t mix and match your drinks and need to spend a minimum of $5 on food. Speaking of food, the brunch menu has Mexican favorites like huevos rancheros, machaca, New Mexico enchiladas and more. Totally casual and even better on the upper deck on a sunny day.
Love the DIY bloody mary and bellini bar at Devanti Enoteca. Out on their patio and adjacent to the Cinepolis movie theatre in Del Mar is this fantastic find. They have an assortment of fresh squeezed juices and prosecco to customize just the drink you want. If you’ve only been to Devanti Enoteca for lunch or dinner and had their mouthwatering polenta ragu or vasis, come on back in the morning! Don’t miss the Truffle Egg Toast and Pork Belly Hash and Eggs. Yum! This is the perfect meal to linger over before you head downstairs to the boutiques.
El Torito’s Sunday brunch offers made-to-order omelettes, a taco bar, salads, fruit, desserts and, of course, the housemade tortillas. The price of $21.99 per adult includes bottomless mimosas. Kids eat for $7.99 but note that both prices may change on major holidays. Brunch is served from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. They’re typically pretty good at handling large groups if you can get everyone to arrive on time for seating (you will not be seated otherwise).
What a menu! If you can get past the “Man Candy,” sweet and spicy bacon, there is a bountiful list of delicious magnets on the brunch menu including the Pork Belly Benedict, Short Rib Hash, Hang Over Burger, an Oyster Bar, and so much more. If you want to get your brunch buzz on, Ignite Bistro has Bottomless Mimosas for an additional $13 per person and Ignite Bloodies or Brunch Punch, too.
Local Tap House
If you really want a laid back brunch surrounded by beautiful beach bohemians head up to Oceanside where the food is phenomenal and the drinks are made with everyone in mind at LTH. They’ve got 32 craft beers on tap with most of those featuring local San Diego brews, creative cocktails worthy of their own section of photos on their website like “Skip & Go Naked,” “Purple Church,” and “Son of a Peach.” There’s a lot of awesome sauce on the brunch menu including the “Elvis Pancakes,” “Short Rib Burrito,” “WTF Slow Cooked Short Rib Fries,” “Farmer’s Market Scramble,” and much much more. Mimosas, oh yeah, they’ve got those, too.
Brian Malarkey’s brunches are not-to-be-missed events. Try New American cuisine—meaning he’s taken old classic like chicken and waffles and given them some modern flair— in the likes of brioche french toast with fruit compote, a lobster and chorizo scramble or a crab and avocado Benedict at Searsucker Del Mar. Guests can dine on the lovely outdoor patio near fire pits and a koi pond or in the sleek indoor dining space. Bottomless mimosas can be yours for $15. (We suggest you also try the Peter Rabbit which has Pimm’s, bruised basil and a pickled carrot garnish.)
The Cork and Craft
Embark on a complete culinary journey at The Cork and Craft, San Diego’s first all-in-one restaurant, winery, and brewery. In addition to 41 beer taps and dozens of wines, the restaurant serves a comfort food brunch on Sundays from 10:00 – 2:00 p.m. Pair your Crème brûlée brioche french toast with honey whipped cream and candied pecans or corned beef hash and eggs with $15 bottomless mimosas.
