Market Restaurant + Bar

With many items made in-house with fresh ingredients in a creative and exciting ways, you’ll almost immediately agree to come back to sample the rest of the menu. True to the typical farm to table fare, you’ll find a changing menu to match the seasonal availability. Start with their homemade sourdough, choose between two different ways they prepare duck, wash it down with a nice glass of red, and finish with their homemade salted caramel.

Beesalt Balcony

The Mediterranean inspired dishes include mouthwatering creations such as artichoke hummus and lamb burgers. You’ll be dared to try something different and when you find the baklava ice cream cake, you’ll be glad you took it.

Flower Child

Offering a balanced menu of home cooked favorites, fresh earthy flavors, vegan pleasing options and a special menu for the littles. With the desire to please all, you’ll save the day by seeing vegan, gluten-free, and carnivore options. Can’t decide? They offer a mix n’ match options for select menu items.

Prepkitchen

A model worth repeating, so they did just that; Prepkitchen is one of the few farm-to-table restaurants that have more than one location. If the ingredient isn’t fresh: they don’t serve it. The word got out a long time ago and this local favorite is widening its reach of fans. Only serving breakfast and lunch its most popular menu items are brunch based (not surprisingly). So famous in fact that they have their own pancakes aptly named “Claire’s Cakes”, a dead giveaway for their repeat customer fan club.

Solterra Winery & Kitchen

A Mediterranean flare is infused in this wine bar offering their own locally made wine, tapas, and a vibe only Encinitas can offer. Enjoy the ambiance of outdoor seating with an abundance of relaxed locals staying warm with real flame heat lamps while overlooking their very own vineyards.

Ki’s Restaurant

Started by a local, the tradition continues as part of their DNA at this local favorite: fresh ingredients brought in daily in support of not only the local farmers but of the local community as a whole. Being located in one of the coolest parts of Cardiff, directly across from the surf; you’ll zen out while enjoying fresh bowls, smoothies, salads, and plates.

Tin Leaf Fresh Kitchen

A quirky and cute café where you can expect consistency, fresh dishes, good quality, and variety. Bringing a unique spin on soda machines and offering their own organic soda flavors including kefir soda.

Campfire

The latest of hipster hot spots with a Ph.D. in food. After reading the menu you’ll wonder why you haven’t been here yet. They marry items you wouldn’t think of: beets and pistachios, broccoli with candied peanuts, and their cocktails are no different by showcasing their craft skills through Roasted Beet and Smoked Coconut cocktails to name a few. Bistro West

A true family experience brought to you by three, actual brothers. Priding themselves with local finds, fifteen beers on tap and weekly wine specials. They make an art out of charcuterie boards and keep it interesting with daily versions of everyone’s favorite comfort food: mac n cheese. Get spoiled with carefully chosen selections of their favorites to include: small batch chocolate, wines, pancetta and cheeses from select local farms.

The Wooden Spoon

Home to multiple award-winning chefs and local San Diegan, Jesse Paul rolls up his sleeves and gifts us comfort food in his own perfected style. Proudly boasting an entire menu full of in-house created dishes (including the ketchup), with ingredients strictly from local farms and businesses. Bellamy’s Restaurant

Locally renowned as a hidden gem, Chef Jonathan Freyberg invites you to get cozy and enjoy his French-inspired menu.
