Located along Pacific Coast Highway, HapiFish is a local beach inspired reataurant and sushi bar in Encinitas that celebrates North County’s easy going surf culture. At HapiFish, every day is “hapi” with “happy hour” priced drinks and eats everyday from 3pm-7pm.
Location and Vibe
HapiFish is located on Pacific Coast Highway, just blocks from beloved Moonlight beach. Inside, beach culture and Asian influences collide for a decor and space that is modern yet inviting. Because North County locals love it and it is always packed, it might not be the best choice if you want intimate date night conversation. However, if you want delicious bites of sushi, good drinks and a laid back dining experience, then HapiFish is for you.
HapiFish’s menu is as eclectic as its Encinitas residents. The menu celebrates a non-traditional “California Beach” palette,
offering a mix of “beach bar eats” (think fish tacos), fresh sushi, teriyaki, and seafood entrées. Sushi offerings include a raw bar menu, rolls, nigiri and sashimi.
A sushi bar that serves craft brews? You bet! Hapi Fish serves 2 craft brews, the HapiBlonde and the HapiHef made exclusively for its patrons by Firestone Walker Brewing. Looking for just a taste of Japanese spirits? $1 sake is on the HapiHour menu.
Feeling adventurous and have a little extra cash to spend? Sit at the Sushi Bar and ask your sushi chef to make you a few off-the-menu items.
