Annmarie d’Ercole just opened a flagship store inside of Flower Hill Promenade (above Sea & Smoke restaurant). While shoppers can pick up a pair of designer jeans or an outfit suitable for hitting the town, the store is known for its custom jewelry. Raised in Del Mar herself, Annmarie began creating jewelry over 20 years ago that reflects a careful balance of delicacy and bold design using 14-karat white, yellow, and rose gold, diamonds and black diamonds, as well as precious and semi-precious colored gemstones. Her signature collection can be purchased in store but she also creates custom made pieces as well as bespoke engagement and wedding ring sets.

Identical twins, Cindy and Christie, started Running Skirts six years ago and now the Carlsbad-based company has earned a legion of loyal wearers including a number of celebrities. Their idea was to create fashionable and comfortable athletic wear that could go the distance from dusk to dawn whether you go for a jog, have school obligations or meet friends out for lunch. The skirts are made from sweat-wicking fabrics and don’t bunch in between the legs like running shorts sometimes do. The company has expanded their line to include compression socks, running capris, performance tops and much more.

Rais Case makes stunning handbags using the highest quality materials on the theory that their goods should get better with time and earn a well-worn place in customers lives. Owner Julie Rais Ellis has a background in art and painstakingly taught herself the craft of making handbags which has expanded into messenger bags, backpacks, clutches and so much more. She has partnered with the artisan brand, Mr. B’s Luminaries and together they run a studio/retail space together called The Work/Shop though you can find Rais Case bags in major retailer such as Anthropologie and Free People.
