Pressed Juicery Opens in Carlsbad

Ready for a holiday detox yet? Get a head start on healthier eating in 2017, put on your running shoes and jog over to Pressed Juicery’s first North County location at The Forum Carlsbad. The popular cold-pressed juice brand opens today, December 28, 2016, and is ready for you with its juices, cold-pressed coffees, healthy “shots”, and snacks.

First opened in West Los Angeles in 2010, Pressed Juicery is now in more than 50 locations nationwide, with Carlsbad representing its first North County store. All Pressed’s juices are made from 100% fruits and vegetables and are cold-pressed using a custom hydraulic press to extract maximum nutrients without oxidation. Pressed also eschews added sugars, water and purees, so all you get with your chosen juice are whole foods without fillers. If you’re in detox mode, try the activated charcoal lemonade with honey, lavender, and lemon, or go seasonal with Pressed’s spiced almond juice. We recommend the matcha and hemp for an energy boost if you’ve been run over by the holidays. Most juices are priced less than $7. If you really want to go full throttle healthy, Pressed of course offers a variety of cleanses.

Looking for something dessert-like? the new Carlsbad location also serves Freeze, the store’s beloved vegan, dairy and gluten-free frozen soft serve treat made from the ingredients Pressed uses in its juices. Freeze comes in four flavors – chocolate, vanilla, greens and fruits – and is available with toppings like almond butter, chia seeds and cacao drizzle.

Hey, we get it if you’re not ready to give up the cookies just yet. If you can’t make it to today’s opening, don’t worry – Pressed Juicery will welcome you on January 1 with open arms and a hangover cure.
