Food is part of the experience and it’s a wonder that nutritious, well-portioned meals can taste this good. I definitely left with a better sense of portion control. Much of the food is either grown on site in the bio dynamic organic gardens or sourced from local farms. Chef Greg Frey, Jr. (formerly of Omni La Costa’s Bluefire Grill) creates the daily menu based on what is in season.

The all-inclusive rate includes all meals, fitness, daily programming and a whole lot of beauty and spa. The belief is that daily massages (!!!), nail treatments, detox wraps, hair blow outs and more are an integral part of the guest experience. When you look, you feel good.

Golden Door the kind of place that reinforces family bonds and friendships as well as re-energizes the mind, body and spirit. We don’t often think a short drive from home can have these kinds of benefits, but rest assured that it can.
