At this County Park, you’ll feel as though you’re much further away from the city than you truly are.
Located on the border of Del Mar and Solana Beach and just minutes from the highway, San Dieguito County Park is a beautiful place to spend the day in North County.
With two entrances and hiking trails that lead you in different directions, there really is something for everyone within this 125-acre park. Parking is just $3 per car, but you’ll need single dollar bills for the machine. You can also park outside the park entrance and walk in.

Upper park areas and lower park areas host a large group or a small family picnic with small or large BBQ spots and picnic tables near garbage bins and restrooms. Plan ahead to reserve your spot for 75 – 500 guests.
The lower park has two playground areas with age-appropriate climbing structures and swings. A large play area sits on the upper park near the baseball field. A basketball court and exercise stations can also be found here.

With picturesque park views and a wrought iron Victorian gazebo tucked into a private and scenic area of the lower park, this spot is quite fitting for a wedding ceremony.
