The Villas at Stallions Crossing North County Neighborhood Guide
The Carmel Valley neighborhood of Stallions Crossing is just minutes from the beach, near equestrian centers and country clubs, and just a short drive from shopping, dining, movie theaters and more. This unique community of upscale homes offers the coveted North County lifestyle for a bit lower cost than some other parts of North County and with architecture that varies from the Mediterranean style found throughout most of this area.
This community will likely be most appealing to horse lovers, country clubbers and those in search of a centrally located home base from which they can enjoy an active lifestyle.
Stallions Crossing History
Stallions Crossing was developed by Sea Country between 2002 and 2004.
Stallions Crossing Housing
There are 47 upscale, single-family homes in the gated community of Stallions Crossing, many of which have views of the ocean and Del Mar Racetrack. Homes here have three to five bedrooms and range in size from about 2,984 square feet to 3,909 square feet. There is a homeowners association with dues that cover maintenance of common areas, and some potential buyers may be interested in knowing that this community has Mello-Roos.
I found just one home for sale in Stallions Crossing at the time of this writing, which is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, 3,909-square-foot home built in 2003 listed at $1,550,000.
One of the most unique traits of this small community is that the style of homes is more in line with English country homes than with the Mediterranean architecture so common in this area.
