Novemberfest in the Gardens 2017

Novemberfest in the Gardens is a beer, wine and mead festival which supports the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens. 100% of all proceeds go directly to the Gardens and the Amigos De Vista Lions Club, and your ticket purchase helps keep the Gardens alive and growing, provides vital funds to pay utilities, insures upkeep, and drives expansion for generations to come. Join us for a wide variety of local craft beers, wines, and meads from our local experts in the brewing community. In addition, the event is sponsored North County Home Brewer’s Association, a guiding force for homebrewers and afficianados seeking knowledge of craft brewing and vinting. The Alta Vista Botanical Gardens are a 17-acre botanical preserve nestled at the top of Brengle Terrace Park in Vista, CA. The primary goals of the garden are the protection, preservation, and care of noteworthy, beautiful and rare plants of the world, and to educate, enlighten and inspire our children, and the child within us all. AVBG is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is sustained by local businesses, private donations and fundraisers.

Encinitas Fall Street Fair

The Encinitas Street Faire and Fall Festival are located down the center of six blocks of scenic South Coast Highway 101, two blocks from the Pacific Ocean. This two-day faire in the Spring and one day in the fall draw crowds exceeding 100,000 and feature a booth arrangement that provides half of the vendors with two adjoining sides open to traffic if they choose. In the spring street faire, ongoing since 1983, international food, children’s rides, four live stages, and the craft brewery beer garden guarantee that there will be fun for the whole family. In the Fall Festival, continuous since 1989, children’s rides, two stages of live entertainment and food and drink refreshments provide an attractive setting for the public and a great boon to our vendors. The emphasis of both the Encinitas Street Faire and the Holiday Festival is on arts, handmade crafts, antiques, and ethnic imports. However, commercial vendors will be accepted and admitted upon consideration of merchandise and display appearance.
